Estonia gets MICHELIN Stars!

A Michelin Star is awarded for outstanding cooking. Restaurants with Michelin Stars  have the best quality of the ingredients, the harmony of flavours, great techniques, the chef has to add his own personality to the food and have uniqe menu for customers.

Estonia has obtained Michelin stars for 31 restaurants around the country. We will show you some of them below.

NOA Chef´s Hall

One of these restaurants which gets Michelin stars is NOA Chef´s Hall. NOA Chef’s Hall has been declared the best restaurant in the Baltics in  2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. The on-view kitchen is the heart of the restaurant and the open fire is used to great effect. Luxury ingredients are to the fore and are sourced from around the world, depending on what’s best, be it scallops from Norway or lobster from Canada, but locally foraged and preserved produce also plays its part. The creative 7-course menu, designed by chefs Roman Sidorov and Tõnis Siigur, keeps clients engaged from start to finish, with complex, highly original dishes full of complimentary flavours and texture layers. There’s some theatre at play too, with dishes delivered to the tables by the chefs, who describe them in detail.

Restaurant 180° by Matthias Diether

The second restaurat is Restaurant 180° by Matthias Diether. 180° is a fine dining restaurant located in Port Noblessner. With an open kitchen and an exclusive tasting menu, it is a stage for you to love and savour food. After drinks and snacks in the restaurant’s futuristic bar, guests can choose whether to have the 4-course tasting menu ‚Flavours of 180 Degrees‘ or the 6-course tasting menu ‚Matthias‘ Inspiration‘. Ambitious, showy dishes are experienced German chef Matthias Diether’s hallmark, and his modern creations show an array of both flavour and texture contrasts, as well as paying great attention to detail. Service is warm and engaging and helps to create a relaxed atmosphere. This restaurant also get a Michelin star.
